Adam looks to end Bale feud

Charlie Adam is hoping to draw a line under the feud between himself and Tottenham’s Gareth Bale.

They meet in a World Cup qualifier as Scotland gear up to take on Wales, with Adam twice having launched into overly aggressive challenges on the winger in the past, leading to Bale calling him a “coward.”

“Nope – because he will not be playing on my side. Whoever plays at right-back or left-back will deal with him. What has happened in the past has happened in the past, the most important thing is playing for Scotland and getting a result.”
