The prospect of Arsenal fighting for the league at the start of the season appeared slim after a disastrous start, but a superb run of form has edged them closer to contention.
“We are on a run, we are keeping it together and getting clean sheets. That’s important”, Arteta told Arsenal’s official site.
“I am pleased that we won. We have a break now and it leaves you with a really bad sensation if you don’t win before one of those.
“We have 15 days to work with the players and we need to come back very strong.
“We have to win every game because we are catching up and it is not one or two clubs like the old days.”
