The 25 year old forward had thought to have joined the club on loan, but he confirmed that he has signed permanently instead and becomes the club’s third signing of the January transfer window after Wayne Bridge and Gary O’Neil.
Ba said on his website: “It was a long story but now I’m happy because it had a really good end and I am glad to be here. I am going to give everything to West Ham United.”
