Baup delight with Marseille

Elie Baup was thrilled after his Marseille team won a hard fought encounter with lowly Evian on Sunday.

A Morgan Amalfitano header won them the game, the three points and with it kept up an 100% record with six wins from six.

“Sometimes you just have to take one thing away from a match and that’s three points, even if obviously we suffered in this one,” said Baup.

“My players showed terrific mental strength and put their hearts in to it. They showed so much desire and I’d like to say bravo to them. There will be other weeks with three games and in the intermediary weeks we need to regenerate.”
