Brazil beat Argentina in friendly

Brazil won a friendly with Argentina last night thanks to a late Neymar penalty.

They laboured for much of the game though and Mano Menezes’ team went behind to a goal from Juan Manuel Martinez.

A match featuring only players playing domestically then saw Brazil level when Paulinho headed in Neymar’s free kick.

It was an unconvincing Brazilian display though and had some fans calling for recently sacked Palmeiras coach Luiz Felipe Scolari to take over from Menezes.
