Brazil will be ready – Valcke

Jerome Valcke, FIFA’s general secretary and the man ultimately responsible for the World Cup in Brazil next year, says the host nation will be ready.

Brazil has been dogged by delays with construction of stadiums and other issues, with air infrastructure a key concern still.

“That is going to happen,” Valcke said. “There is no Plan B. There is no solution other than having those 12 stadiums.”
