Burnley sign former Watford winger

The 33-year-old has signed a deal until the end of the season at the Midlands club.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche told the club’s official website: “Lloyd had come out of his situation at Watford and is very experienced and we still feel he has something to offer.

“He has been involved with two promoted teams, so he brings that experience, but he’s also different to what we already have at the club.

“He is direct and has pace, so he adds a different aspect to our game and the squad.”

Dyche added: “Lloyd hasn’t come here for money; he’s come here to be a part of something and he wanted that challenge.

“He knows that we are going well and he knows it’s not an easy task to get in the team, but that’s the challenge that’s in front of him.”
