Cagliari-Roma game called off over safety concerns

Cagliari’s match with Roma today has been called off as a result of security concerns.

The game was due to be played behind closed doors due to the club’s ground failing a safety check, Massimo Cellino invited the club’s fans to attend the game anyway, causing the problem.

As a result the police and the Cagliari prefecture decided the best course of action was to postpone the game.
