Casillas – recognition most important from outside

Iker Casillas says that recognition means most when it comes from outside and insists he could never vote for himself to win the Ballon D’Or, unlike team mate Cristiano Ronaldo.

The egotistical Ronaldo said this week that he would vote for himself to win the award if he could.

“Frankly, I could not do it,” said Casillas. “I prefer that recognition for my work comes from outside, rather than myself.”
