Chelsea boss happy with Turnbull

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Ross Turnbull will face Inter Milan on Tuesday.

Both Petr Cech and Hilario ar out injured and Turnbull made his debut for the Blues in Saturday’s win over West Ham.

“Ross Turnbull deserved to play in this game because he has trained well and proved his quality,” said Ancelotti.

“He was not involved in a lot of the game but he did make a good save in the last minute of the match.

“He played with confidence and we have confidence in him. I think he will play in the Champions League on Tuesday.”

Turnbull joined Chelsea in the summer on a free transfer from Middlesbrough.
