Chelsea Mourinho move hits snag

Chelsea’s attempts to bring Jose Mourinho back to London have hit a stumbling block with the Premier League side unwilling to pay compensation to Real Madrid for the Portuguese.

Real Madrid seem desperate to get rid of Mourinho according to the reports coming out from Spain this season as the Portuguese tactician has irritated and turned key figures against him. Fans booed him after their last game.

Yet Real may now decide not to fire him, instead forcing the hand of his next club, possibly Chelsea, to stump up the 20 million euros they would be owed if another club want him before his contract expires.
