Chelsea refuse to apologise to Clattenburg

Chelsea have refused to apologise to referee Mark Clattenburg after he was cleared of using racist language towards Mikel John Obi.

Despite Chelsea’s allegation, Clattenburg was found to have no case to answer with barely a shred of evidence against him.

In spite of that, Chelsea’s statement in response accepted the verdict but refused to express any sympathy or sorrow for the referee who their false allegation put out of work for several weeks.
