Cisse is keen to improve his form at Newcastle. The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers as part of a deal to sign Loic Remy on a permanent deal.
Cisse has yet to score for the Magpies this season.
“I always just keep working hard for the club,” he told The Chronicle.
“We have a lot of good strikers here – myself, Loic Remy, Yoan Gouffran, Shola Ameobi and Hatem Ben Arfa.
“But it isn’t about who plays with each other – it is about how well we do as a team.”
