Everton set to sign Cardiff striker

Everton manager David Moyes is set to sign Cardiff striker Jay Bothroyd on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old has failed to agree a new contract at Championship side Cardiff and can leave the club on a free transfer.

The People reports that Moyes has agreed terms to take the striker to Goodison Park.

Bothroyd scored 20 goals for Cardiff, who reached the play-off semi-finals this season.
