Falcao has repeatedly stressed he had no plans to leave before the end of this season, although there is a strong chance he could be off in the summer.
“I have three years left on my contract at my club, I am happy and satisfied,” Falcao told reporters.
“Obviously in sporting terms I have the ambition to continue to progress and do better than this season, to keep fighting at the top of the Spanish League, the Europa League and in the semi-finals of a tournament like the Copa del Rey. I just think of Atletico.”
