Ferguson has sights on century

Alex Ferguson wants his Manchester United team to score 100 Premier League goals for the first time.

United have come close to the milestone in the past but have never achieved the record under Ferguson.

The Scot said: “It would be nice to think we could do that. That season in 2000, when we were one goal short of 100 in the league [actually three], the last game was at Villa Park – we had the opportunity but didn’t quite make it.”
