Ferguson retires

Alex Ferguson is retiring as Manchester United manager at the end of the season, the club has officially confirmed.

Ferguson will go down in history as one of the greatest managers ever involved in the game after a remarkable 26 year spell. His reign comes to an end after their final game of the season away to West Brom.

Ferguson will remain as a director and ambassador for the club going forward.
