Former Liverpool director considered re-signing Chelsea star

Former Liverpool director of football Damien Comolli considered bringing Chelsea striker Fernando Torres back to the club.

The Daily Mail reports that Comolli considered bringing the 28-year-old back to Anfield in this summer’s transfer window.

Comolli was sacked by Liverpool in April.

Torres has failed to make the expected impact at Chelsea since joining the club in a £50million deal from Liverpool.

Torres scored 81 goals during his time at Liverpool.
