They are at the top of the Serie A table, along with Inter. Capuano, Agliardi and Diana are struggling with injuries for the home side.

Newcastle are struggling in the Premiership. Won 1-0 at home against Fenerbache. The English side will be missing lots of players for this match. Goalkeepers Given and Harpet is struggling with injuries, and that might lead to Krul making his debut in the Newcastle goal. Carr, Babayaro, Parker, Duff, Ameobi and Martins is out with injuries, while youngster Rossi will not play the match.

This is a match Palermo should win, and probably with more than one goal. Newcastle is struggling.
