The clash between Tottenham and Everton on Saturday has been postponed due to safety reasons, following the recent riots in London.

Re: Premier League picks and previews 2011-12

Premier League 13, 14 and 15 August

- Saturday -

Blackburn - Wolves
Ewood Park
Kick-off: 15.00 BST
Last season: Wolves 2 Blackburn 3, Blackburn 3 Wolves 0.
There were plenty of goals when these two played each other last season and I believe a bet on more than 2.5 goals could be a good pick in this one.
More than 2.5 goals.

Fulham - Aston Villa
Craven Cottage
Kick-off: 15.00 BST
Last season: Aston Villa 2 Fulham 2, Fulham 1 Aston Villa 1.
Both meetings between these two clubs last season ended in draw. Both clubs have new managers who will be desperate to get a winning start to the season. This could be another close one between these two, but with the players Villa have lost I believe Fulham will win.
Fulham to win.

Liverpool - Sunderland
Anfield
Kick-off: 15.00 BST
Last season: Sunderland 0 Liverpool 2, Liverpool 2 Sunderland 2
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has spent around £100m since taking over as manager at Anfield in January. Dalglish will be desperate for his rejuvenated Liverpool side to get off to a winning start. The hosts should win this one.
Liverpool to win with 0-1 handicap.

QPR - Bolton
Loftus Road
Kick off: 15.00 BST
Last season: N/A
Bolton face newly-promoted Queens Park Rangers in this one at Loftus Road. QPR have failed to strengthen enough following their return to the Premier League and I believe Bolton could get something from this one.
More than 2.5 goals.

Wigan - Norwich
DW Stadium
Kick off: 15.00 BST
Last season: N/A
Wigan failed to impress against Blackpool on the opening day last season and I expect Roberto Mancini's side to be desperate to get of to a winning start this time around.
Wigan to win.

Newcastle United - Arsenal
St James' Park
Kick-off: 17.30 BST
Last season: Arsenal 0 Newcastle 1, Newcastle 4 Arsenal 4.
Newcastle impressed agains the Gunners last season and I believe the visitors could struggle this time around as well, but expect many goals.
More than 2.5 goals.

- Sunday -

Stoke City - Chelsea
Britannia Stadium
Kick off: 13.30 BST
Last season: Stoke 1 Chelsea 1, Chelsea 2 Stoke 0
Stoke managed a draw here last season and I believe the Blues will struggle this time around as well. Could be close.
Less than 2.5 goals.

West Brom - Manchester United
The Hawthorns
Kick-off: 16.00 BST Sunday
Last season: West Brom 1 Manchester United 2, Manchester United 2 West Brom 2.
United failed to impress away last season, but I will be very surprised if they do not get a win from this meeting at the Hawthorns.
Manchester United to win.

- Monday -

Manchester City - Swansea
Eastlands
Kick-off: 20.00 BST
Last season: N/A
Manchester City are among the title favourites this season and they face newly-promoted Swansea in this one. City should be able to get a clear home win from this one.
Manchester City to win with 0-1 handicap.

Re: Premier League picks and previews 2011-12

BREAKING NEWS: Arsenal duo Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri are not in the Gunners' squad for Saturday's opening game against Newcastle United at St James' Park.

Re: Premier League picks and previews 2011-12

Feature piece by Ontheminute.com's David Gold:

Indecision and inexperience hamper Arsenal's preparations

If reports are to be believed this week, the following players may have made moves to or from Arsenal this week; Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri, Juan Mata, Per Metersacker, Nicklas Bendtner, Phil Jagielka, Joel Campbell, Gary Cahill, Chris Samba, and Emmanuel Eboué.

Oh, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

No team has had as turbulent a pre-season as Arsene Wenger’s men, though it has been exacerbated by indecision. Wenger has flitted between bids for Gary Cahill and Phil Jagielka, decided Samir Nasri is staying and then changed his mind, and reiterated his desire to keep Fabregas whilst continuing negotiations with Barcelona.
