What difference, beyond the sentimental, will Torres' departure make for Atletico? Is their savior gone, or has his departure opened up new opportunities for the team?

Atletico will for sure feel they are missing their Big Gun. But I believe it was time for Torres to leave, change the scene a bit. There will be coming new youngsters who can fill the room Torres have left. And it's my opinion that Torres is a bit over-rated and not worth the megabucks Liverpool paid for him.
