I am not totaly sure actually. Clubs like Inter would have struggled to get a team onto the pitch with these rules.

And e.g. Manchester United have a lot of players from the UK in their team.

But in the short term we may have seen some changes around Europe. But the best team in the Premier League would have stayed up there I think.
