Re: Spain Primera Division picks and previews 2010-11
Primera Division 11, 12 and 13 September - Saturday - Barcelona - Hercules Last season: Not played. Barcelona won the league last season and I would expect them to have no problems beating Hercules by at least two goals in this one. Barcelona to win with 0-1 handicap. Valencia - Santander Last season: 0-0 Valencia have had a great start to the season and I believe they will have no problems winning this game. Valencia to win. Real Madrid - Osasuna Last season: 3-2 Real Madrid won 3-2 here last season but I believe they will manage to get a even bigger win here this time. Real Madrid to win with 0-1 handicap. Ath. Bilbao - Atl. Madrid Last season: 1-0 Both teams managed successful starts to the season and I believe this one will be close like last year's meeting. Less than 2.5 goals. - Sunday - Getafe - Levante Last season: Not played. Both have had poor starts to the season but I believe Getafe will be able to win this one at home. Getafe to win. Gijon - Mallorca Last season: 4-1 Gijon managed a 4-1 here last season, but I believe Mallorca have a chance of winning this one this time around. Mallorca to win. Zaragoza - Malaga Last season: 2-0 Zaragoza are strong and managed a strong win here last season and should be able to win again this time around. Less than 2.5 goals. Villarreal - Espanyol Last season: 0-0 Espanyol managed to beat Getafe 3-1 while Villarreal lost 1-0 away to Villarreal in their first games of the season. Both of their meetings last season ended goalless. Less than 2.5 goals. Sevilla - La Coruna Last season: 1-1 Sevilla managed a great start to the season, but they only managed a 1-1 draw with La Coruna here last season. Sevilla to win. - Monday - Almeria - Real Sociedad Last season: Not played. Real Sociedad managed a winning return to the Primera Division with a 1-0 win over Villarreal in the first game of the season. This should be another close one. Less than 2.5 goals.

Re: Spain Primera Division picks and previews 2010-11
Spain Primera Division 2 and 3 October - Saturday - Zaragoza - Gijon Last season: 1-3 It has often been close between these two. Four of the last five meetings between these to have ended in draws. Zaragoza have had a very poor start to the season, but Gijon have been poor away so far. More than 2.5 goals. Real Sociedad - Espanyol Last season: Not played. Real Sociedad have had a pritty weak start to the season, but Espanyol are very poor away. Could ebc lose, but I expect it to be entertaining. More than 2.5 goals. Valencia - Ath. Bilbao Last season: 2-0 Valencia have had a very strong start to the season and they impressed me against Manchester United on Wednesday. They should be able to win this one. Valencia to win. - Sunday - Almeria - Malaga Last season: 1-0 Almeria won here last season, but Malaga have been outstanding away so far this season. Could be a close one. More than 2.5 goals. Getafe - Hercules Last season: Not played. Getafe have been pritty average so far this season and they face a very strong away team in this one. Should be close. Less than 2.5 goals. Osasuna - Levante Last season: Not played. Osasuna have been pritty strong at home so far this season and I believe they could manage to beat Levante in this one. Osasuna to win. Sevilla - Atl. Madrid Last season: 3-1 Atletico Madrid have had an good start to the season and Sevilla have been far from impressive. This could be a tight one between these two. Less than 2.5 goals. Villarreal - Santander Last season: 2-0 Villarreal have had an superb start to the season and I can not see them lose any points against Santander in this one. Villarreal to win with 0-1 handicap. Barcelona - Mallorca Last season: 4-2 Barcelona have had an ok start to the season and this is a game they should be able to win. But they are coming off a long away trip to Russia in the Champions League. More than 2.5 goals. Real Madrid - La Coruna Last season: 3-2 Real Madrid have been good under Jose Mourinho and I expect them to have no problems winning this game by at least two goals at home. Real Madrid to win with 0-1 handicap.
