Re: Championship picks and previews 2010-11
Championship 22 and 23 January
- Saturday -
Derby - Nottingham
Nottingham have been superb recently and should be able to get something from this one, and I believe they will.
Nottingham to win.
Barnsley - Swansea
Barnsley have been ok at home and they face a terrible away team in Swansea in this one.
Barnsley to win.
Cardiff - Watford
Watford have been superb recently and should have a chance of getting maybee a draw away against Cardiff.
Less than 2.5 goals.
Crystal Palace - Bristol City
Crystal Palace are strong at home and should be able to beat Bristol City in this one, but I expect few goals.
Crystal Palace to win.
Ipswich - Doncaster
Ipswich have failed to impress me, but with a new boss in charge (following the sacking of Roy Keane), I believe the hosts could win this one.
Ipswich to win.
Leicester - Millwall
Millwall at home and Millwall away are two different sides it seems. Leicester could have a chance of winning this one.
Leicester to win.
Middlesbrough - Preston
Middlesbrough have managed to bounce back from their poor first-half of the season and I believe they will be able to win this game.
Middlesbrough to win.
Portsmouth - Leeds
Leeds have failed to impress recently and they are coming off a tough FA Cup game against Arsenal on Wednesday. Should be entertaining at least.
More than 2.5 goals.
Reading - Hull
Reading are impressive at home, but Hull have been superb in their recent away games. This could be a close one.
More than 2.5 goals.
Sheffield Utd - Norwich
Norwich have been impressive recently and based on Sheffield United's recent performances, the visitors could get something from this game.
More than 2.5 goals.
Scunthorpe - Burnley
Scunthorpe have been terrible recently, but Burnley have not been too much better. Many goals is probably the best pick in this one.
More than 2.5 goals.
- Sunday -
QPR - Coventry
QPR had a superb start to the season, but have not been too good recently. They face a weak side in Coventry in this one.
QPR to win with 0-1 handicap.
