Yellow cards to Webber D., O'Hara J. and Ben-Haim T., all Portsmouth, so far in the 1st half.
2-0 Nani/Own goal..
the goal will probably be registered as an own goal by Anthony Vanden Borre.
1st half is over.
as expected United have had it pritty easy against Pompey so far, and have a comfortable 2-0 lead!
Half time results in the Premier League today:
Bolton 0 - 0 Fulham Burnley 1 - 0 West Ham Hull 1 - 0 Manchester City Manchester Utd 2 - 0 Portsmouth Stoke 2 - 0 Blackburn Sunderland 0 - 1 Wigan
United are currently 1st on the Premier League table. 1 point ahead of Chelsea who face Arsenal on Sunday.
Antonio Valencia have a massive chance, but does not manage to get the goal past David James in the Pompey goal.
Valencia should clearly have scored there, poor finish from the winger.
3-0 Carrick, a shot from outside the box gets deflected off a Pompey player.
Pompey keeper David James did not have a chance to save that one.
Can Pompey get back from this?? Or will United score more goals?

4-0 Berbatov, shot from just outside the box. Nice shot from the Bulgarian. poor defence from Pompey
