I don't know. I think he needs to play in the frank lampard role for him to succeed. He is an excellent attacking midfielder but with luka modric in front of him and harry redknapp's preference to play to wingers and 2 strikers, i find it hard how will he get into the starting lineup.

i think he will get games at the white hart lane. Defoe is holding up a groin surgery i think and with pavlyu and keane's form, there is every chance that harry might wanna change up the system which will feature peter crouch as the lone striker and luka and VDV behind him.

With modric's injury ruling him out for a couple of month, i think VDV will be the first choice guy behind the striker now. He will be the best buy of the season, another outstanding business by harry houdini
