He is so burnt from sitting on the bench at barca, that he rejected 2 big clubs for birm.
The guy was such a good player, just made a career changing stupid mistake. He will probably be v unfit at the moment, but he will be in full flow by the christmas time.

big name signing for birmingham but the question is will he fit in?
as far as i can remember birmingham rely on their tall center backs roger johnson and scott dann and the midfield just loops the ball up front for cameron jerome and company to get the odd goal from setpieces etc.
Maybe alex mcleish has decided to change the system a bit.
