Gerrard wary of play offs

Steven Gerrard says that England have a lot of work to do to avoid playing in the play offs in their bid to qualify for the World Cup.

England have made an unspectacular start to their group and are currently behind Montenegro.

“I’m certainly not underestimating where we are and how much there is to do,” the England captain said. “I think there is still a lot of hard work to do, that’s for sure. We don’t want to end up in the play-offs.”
