Higuain announces Real departure

Gonzalo Higuain has said that he is leaving Real Madrid after seven years at the club.

The Argentine forward has been heavily linked with a move to Italian champions Juventus.

“I feel that my time here is over, I want a change,” Higuain said.

“These seven years have been intense, hard, bright. It was a considered decision. It’s hard, it wasn’t easy, but I think I want to go to another club, new challenges. I wish the club the best.”
