Higuain has spoken to and agreed terms to join Arsenal, but Real Madrid’s decision to vastly increase the fee after their agreement was reached has put the brakes on the move.
“I have spoken to him and what has been said is private”, Ancelotti said of Higuain. “Gonzalo is still a Real player and I am glad that he is here. There is nothing more to add.”
