The 27-year-old’s contract with Werder Bremen is set to expire at the end of the season, but the German side are keen for the midfielder to extend his stay.
Hunt admits that he has considered a move abroad.
“I am very pleased about this appreciation,” he told Sport-BILD weekly.
“Still I am not in a hurry as I am keen to wait on our further progress. There is always a special charm to move to a foreign-based club and this is an issue on my mind.
“But Werder Bremen remains my first partner of conversation regarding my future.”
