I broke Barcelona dominance – Mourinho

Jose Mourinho claims that he broke Barcelona’s dominance of Spanish football during his spell with Real Madrid.

The Portuguese coach departed under a cloud and was accused by Andres Iniesta of being bad for Spanish football.

“I damaged Spanish football by breaking Barcelona’s dominance,” said Mourinho, ignoring the fact that Barcelona just won the league with 100 points. “All my decisions are based on meritocracy…

“Of course I want good relations with everybody but the most important thing is to have good relations for myself and I think somebody deserves to play, then he has to play.”
