Inter to face racism inquiry

Inter Milan could be punished by UEFA after their fans were heard racially abusing Emmanuel Adebayor last week.

The Togolese forward was barracked by the crowd whilst playing for Tottenham in the Europa League, and fittingly it was he who scored the decisive away goal which sent the English side through.

UEFA have since confirmed that Inter are under investigation for “racist behaviour of supporters, insufficient organisation and the throwing of missiles and/or fireworks”.
