“Is it a Scudetto showdown? I hope that it can become that over time. At the moment it is a challenge between the top two teams in the table,” Cannavaro told Sky Sport Italia.
“It is a very important match indeed, but in any case will not be decisive for the title.
“Perhaps it can set off that extra spark within us, that renewed awareness of our own potential. After all, Juventus dominated last season and ended unbeaten, so the statistics suggest they are the favourites.”
