Juventus turn down £42m bid for Amauri from Real Madrid

The Spaniards are out in the market looking for a new striker after Ruud Van Nistelrooy was ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee ligament injury.

Amauri has impressed for Juventus, since joining the Old Lady from Palermo in the summer.

Italian newspaper Tuttosport claims the Bianconeri rejected a £42.6million bid from Real Madrid, less than half the amount Juventus paid for him.
