Kagawa disappointed with Japan performance

Shinji Kagawa has spoken of his disappointment at his performance for Japan this week.

Kagawa did not produce his best form as Japan laboured to a 1-0 win over the United Arab Emirates, and was substituted.

“Of course I wanted to play more minutes,” said Kagawa.

“I always want to score but the coach makes the decisions. I’ll have to look at my performance today. My body felt a little heavier than I expected, probably from the flight.”
