Kenneth to quit Dundee Utd

The 24-year-old’s current contract with Dundee is set to expire in the summer and he could leave the club on a Bosman free transfer.

“It’s time for a change. I need a fresh go and it’s something I will look at over the next six months,” Kenneth told the Daily Record.

“The big challenge is to go down south and do it at a high level. A new start would be good for me. If I get my league form going again hopefully I’ll attract some interest.

“The manager has not said much but I believe he understands where I’m coming from. Dundee United are a feeder club – it has always been like that.

“Mark Wilson and David Goodwillie have used it to move on to bigger things and I want a bigger club too.”
