The American businessman has bought the shares of Danny Fizsman and Lady Nina Bracewell-Smith, and is now to launch a takeover for the rest of the club’s shares.
The major obstacle to such a move would be the 27% stake owned by Uzbek billionaire Alisher Usmanov.
