The Chelsea midfielder is unconcerned by the 1-1 draw with Ukraine, and insists observers must give the team time to gel.
“Sometimes it won’t click at all. It’s international football. Ukraine are no mugs. We have a mixture of young players and more experienced players, and we’re trying to find the right blend.
“We can get excited about a win in Moldova but you have to understand that it’s a process of getting where we want to be. Ukraine was another night in the process.”
