Lazio, Genoa and Lecce face match fixing charges

Lazio, Genoa and Lecce are all facing match fixing charges in Italy, the country’s football federation have confirmed.

The charges relate to two games Lazio played against Genoa and Lecce respectively towards the end of the 2010-11 season.

Eight players are also facing charges, the most prominent of whom is the Lazio captain Stefano Mauri.
