Lennon in outburst at ref

Neil Lennon attacked referee Alberto Undiano Mallenco after his Celtic team were beaten 3-0 by Juventus last night.

The home fans were infuriated by what they saw as a number of poor decisions from the referee, although for the most part Celtic players fell over under little or no pressure in search of free kicks and penalties.

“I thought he was poor,” Lennon told Sky Sports. “I thought he was very pro-Juventus. I was disappointed with his performance to say the least.”
