Liverpool defender out for a month

Liverpool defender Martin Kelly will be out of action for one month with a hamstring problem.

The 20-year-old sustained a hamstring tear in Sunday’s defeat at West Ham.

The England Under 21 international has become a first-team regular since Kenny Dalglish took over as manager at Liverpool in January.

Kelly will miss Liverpool’s key clash with rivals Manchester United on Sunday.
