Madrid hold on at Galatasaray

Real Madrid held on for a 5-3 aggregate win against Galatasaray despite a slight scare last night.

Leading 3-0 from the first leg, Cristiano Ronaldo soon put them 4-0 up but Galatasaray then scored three as they threatened the unlikeliest of comebacks.

Ronaldo’s stoppage time goal killed any lingering hopes of a fightback though.
