Malaga ban upheld

Malaga’s ban from European competition for a season has been upheld by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

The Spanish club were banned by UEFA for financial irregularities and delayed payments.

They will now be replaced by the next team in La Liga who qualified for next season’s Europa League and have a UEFA license, which is Sevilla.
