Man Utd and Man City target to sign new Barcelona deal

Andres Iniesta’s father, Jose Antonio, believes that his son will be signing a new contract with Barcelona.

The 29-year-old’s current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2015.

Reports have recently suggested that both Manchester United and Manchester City are keen on signing the Barcelona star.

Jose Antonio said on radio programme La Xarxa: “Anyone who knows Andres, who has spent 18 years at Barcelona, shouldn’t doubt his words.

“Andres is still vital to Barcelona’s style of play.”
