Man Utd boss hits back at Neville retirement reports

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has dismissed reports that Gary Neville will retire at the end of the season.

Reports have suggested that United will not offer Neville a new deal and that the 34-year-old will retire at the end of the season.

“There has not been a decision about Gary Neville,” said Ferguson.

“We why make a decision about his future when we don’t need to? You don’t make decisions like that in the middle of the season.

“It is a load of nonsense.”
