Man Utd make move for French star

Manchester United have made a move for French midfielder Yann M’Vila from Ligue 1 side Rennes.

The People reports that United boss Sir Alex Ferguson felw by private jet to Rennes on Friday to watch the youngster in action against Marseille.

Tottenham assistant boss Kevin Bond and Liverpool’s director of football strategy Damien Comolli also reportedly watched M’Vila in the game.

But United are reportedly leading the race for the £20million-rated midfielder.

M’Vila told the French media: “Manchester United is the club of my dreams. It’s a very prestigious club and I dream of playing for them.”
