Man Utd meet Nike to plot mega bid for Ronaldo

Manchester United reportedly met with Nike officials yesterday to plot a mega move for Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Both the Daily Mail and the Sun reports that United officials held talks with kit manufacturers Nike on Friday over a deal to bring Ronaldo back to Old Trafford.

Nike also held talks with United about the renewal of their shirt sponsorship agreement with the club.

Nike are desperate to get Ronaldo back to Old Trafford as Real Madrid are currently sponsored by rivals Adidas.

Reports suggest United would have to offer around £65million plus Nani to tempt the Spanish giants t sell Ronaldo this summer.
