United boss David Moyes is prepared to loan the duo out if he cannot agree permanent deals for the midfielders.
Moyes is looking to reduce the size of his squad and the duo are surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Scot is also reportedly considering offloading Alex Buttner and Javier Hernandez in January.
