Mancini rubbishes Pellegrini rumours

Roberto Mancini has dismissed reports that Manuel Pellegrini is set to replace him as Manchester City coach.

According to reports on Saturday morning, City have already lined up Malaga coach Pellegrini to take over from Mancini this summer.

“It’s rubbish, this speculation. I will still be here next season. It is rubbish. I am very sorry for our fans”, Mancini told the BBC.

“I don’t know why the club didn’t stop this because I don’t think it is correct. If it is true I’m stupid because I don’t understand this.”
